Filed under: CyberKill,On Writing — Frank Fiore @ 8:07 AM

With Books 3.0 it’s your choice – your media.

While reading CyberKill 3.0, you can switch between professionally-read audio and text versions of the book seamlessly without ever losing your place.

Your bookmark is automatically advanced to keep your reading effort synchronized, and the current text being read is always highlighted. Audio can be streamed or fully downloaded to your device’s hard drive depending on your preference.

See an example here.

Books 3.0 even has video extras bringing the story-telling to life.

In-book videos provide the extended experience such as author commentary about scenes, characters and the writing process. The reader can watch teasers for other books and learn the story behind the story with documentary footage.

Future versions will allow you to insert your own video and audio files into the book and share them with friends. Be creative and extend the story with your own personal flair.
