CYBERKILL 3.0 – Extended Story Lines

Filed under: CyberKill,On Writing — Frank Fiore @ 10:09 AM

Books 3.0 allow the reader to experience extended story lines in the form of ARGs – Alternative Reality Games.

ARGs are real-life games where players interact with characters to solve plot-based challenges and puzzles. ARGs can be dynamically started with trailheads appearing as icons in Books 3.0 titles. These extend the storyline of the book putting the reader inside the action.

One ARG for CyberKill 3.0 is ‘Where is Toad?’ Readers would help find Toad Adams, a character in the book, who has turned up missing under mysterious circumstance by solving puzzles.

You can find more information on ARGs here.
