Frank Remarks #1

Filed under: Frank Remarks — Frank Fiore @ 2:14 PM

Periodically, I’ll be sending out to my friends and fans my Frank Remarks <grin> about my latest projects and coming ones.

If you are not a fan of mine on Facebook, please become one. As a fan, you will get first look at my latest novel – including serialized chapters – and a chance to win signed copies of my latest works.

So on to my remarks.

The free-to-play CyberKill Flash game is going great guns. As of this writing, over 7500 people have played the game in only six days with almost a thousand people clicking through to the Cyberkill book site!

I’m impressed.

CyberKill continues to get great reviews. You can download sample chapters of CyberKill and view them in all portable formats and on the Web at Smashwords.

I am now awaiting news from one new traditional publisher in hopes they will pick up CyberKill for their stable of books. If that fails, I will begin querying traditional small to medium size publishers for publication.

Any help or references from you in this regard would be appreciated.

But it’s time to move on to my new three book series called the Chronicles of Jeremy Nash.

We’re cuurently waiting on a half-dozen large publishers for their response to our query.  We have our fingers crossed but for now, a little about the series.

In the first book of the Chronicles of Jeremy Nash, A TASTE OF THE APOCALYPSE, Jeremy Nash ©, a noted debunker and skeptic of conspiracy theories, urban legends and myths, is drawn into the search for where the body of Christ is buried today.  A letter from his long lost grandfather written in an ancient language, tells of a diary that will reveal where the body of Christ lies today. His grandfather claims the Second Coming was destroyed by the US Air Force in 1947 and Nash is forced to pursue the claim when his sister is kidnapped by a religious cult that demands the diary for her life.  From there A TASTE OF THE APOCALYPSE takes readers on an E-ticket ride from the deserts of New Mexico to the Holy Land, throughout Europe and back again!
A TASTE OF THE APOCALYPSE is the first installment in a new continuing hero series featuring Jeremy Nash ©. Each Nash chronicle in the series is a thriller that sends Nash on an investigation of these myths and legends. Though he doesn’t believe in any of them, he is forced into pursuing them by threats to the lives of his family members or himself or threats to his reputation.

The formula of the chronicles consists of a conspiracy theory, unsolved mystery, urban myth, New Age belief or paranormal practice that Nash is forced to pursue through a series of clues and puzzles that he must solve; combined with an underlying real world threat of event, organization or persons that is somehow connected to what he is pursuing. This provides the thriller aspect of the stories.

Thus, the Chronicles combine the best of Indiana Jones and the National Treasure movies with some X-Files thrown in.

As a preview for my fans and to garner their suggestions and comments, I’ve posted the first chapter of A TASTE OF THE APOCALYPSE on my discussion board of my fan page on Facebook. I will post the following chapters periodically as the days go by.

In addition, as a fan, you will read the drafts of the second book in the Jeremy Nash series called SEED. It deals with the 2012 end of time event – in particular the end of times prediction of the Hopi.

So sign up to become a fan and let me know what you think of each chapter.

That’s it for now.
